We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical First Assistant to join our team at Goring Hall Hospital in Worthing, West Sussex. This is a temporary position with a start date of 15th January 2025 and an end date of 15th January 2025.
As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons during surgical procedures and ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the surgical team, including preparing the operating room, handing instruments to the surgeon, and monitoring the patient's condition throughout the procedure.
In addition to your technical skills and expertise, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. The ability to communicate effectively with both patients and colleagues is essential, as is a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
This position offers a competitive payment rate of £410.50 per shift, with shifts running from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
