Sirona Care & Health is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Band 5 Community Nurse to join our team at NBICC in Bristol. This is a temporary position starting on 02/01/2025 and ending on 02/01/2025, with shifts running from 08:00:00 to 20:00:00. The payment rate for this role is £324 per shift.
As a Band 5 Community Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to individuals within the community setting. You will work closely with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Key responsibilities of this role include conducting comprehensive assessments, delivering nursing care in line with best practices, administering medications, providing wound care, and offering support and education to patients and their families. You will also be responsible for liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
In addition to direct patient care, you will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, participate in team meetings and training sessions, and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach are essential qualities for success in this role.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin and recent experience working in a community nursing setting. You should have a thorough understanding of the principles of person-centered care, as well as excellent clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
